Simply Happy

I love a long weekend. Who doesn’t?  It gives my mind time to really stretch out and think about non-Monday-to-Friday type of things.

Sunday morning of a long weekend, now that’s my favorite.  I sit in front of my computer in my dining room.  The curtains are drawn back on my sliding door and the sunny day outside makes me smile. I have a full pot of coffee, cat under my chair and my budgie chirping along happily to my music.

It’s peaceful and a perfect way to reflect on what I’m grateful for this Thanksgiving weekend.  I’m going to dinner this afternoon at my friends place where we will drink, play a highly inappropriate but hilarious card game, and stuff our faces with turkey and all the fixings.

Life is good 🙂
