Taking Part and Taking Off

Over a week ago I took up a writing prompt challenge from A Writer’s Path.

I wish I had done it sooner!

He was generous enough to share my post on his blog – and then my stats proceeded to reap the benefits.

Just like that people were on my Blog liking this post, some even followed me once they visited. Some stuck around and read some other things.  I hit my best day for views and visitors yet!  And it was all due to taking up a challenge, following through and having someone from this community support it.

Even today I was still seeing people referred to my page from A Writer’s Path’s post! It’s amazing to me. It’s also taught me that I need to do this more often.

I encourage any new bloggers (and seasoned ones too) to take part in the challenges offered up. The point is to get your name out there and the exposure this can afford you is incredible.  People who might have never seen  your blog will have this extra avenue to find you.

So get out, participate, communicate and push your writing boundaries!

You will be glad you did!
